Security Control

covers data level security protection for confidential information

In most management systems, users having access right of a function can access all information that the function can access. Example, a salesperson responsible for a territory who has rights to enter sales orders can view information of all customers and products during the order entry process, including highly confidential data of the entire customer list, their prices, payment terms, credit balance, order history, item suppliers and cost etc.

iCube products are built with data level security control for certain controlled data. On top of defining which users can access what functions with what access rights (read only or read and write), you can further define within that function which customers, items and vendors the users can access. Users that access the confidential records are tracked with user and time stamp for traceability.

Data level security control is crucial to protect company confidential information.
